I love pretty pictures and I love practical how-to blogs. This post is a lovely marriage of those two worlds.
I scrolled through my list of ‘challenging things to clean around the home’ and then searched through some of my favourite pinterest links. Here they are:
Clean your washing machine by running a cycle with bleach, and then a cycle with white vinegar.
Remove old candles from votive holders – freeze them and the wax will shrink and pop right out of the votive.
Clean your oven with a homemade recipe
Clean the microwave: Mix vinegar and water together in a bowl. Set the microwave for about 10 minutes. Remove the bowl and wipe down.
Freshen up your mattress: Mix baking soda and lavender oil together. Spread over the mattress, wait an hour, and vacuum up.
Create a mixture of laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, bleach, borax, and very hot water to bring your pillows back to bright white.
